Love Columbia and others supported the launch of this nonprofit organization officially called Love My Job Training Center.
Despite opening just two weeks before the COVID pandemic shut down, community support has remained strong and the operation has continued by adding take out and delivery options. Through sharing recipes they hope to generate a community where Love is the common ingredient.
Joseph Street Community Garden is part of the 2. We are looking forward to revitalizing the garden and creating a beautiful space for neighbors to work alongside neighbors. We envision the garden as a place where our clients and volunteers, along with neighborhood residents, can gather to work while benefiting from the production of fruits and vegetables. Joseph Street Garden has been part of Columbia Garden Coalition for 15 years and will remain as a dedicated plot of the coalition. Adam Saundersa neighborhood property owner and long time staff member of Columbia Center for Urban Agriculture, has served as garden leader for several years and will continue in this role.
